High Speed Chase In FDL County

Fond du Lac County authorities arrested a 24-year-old man following a high-speed chase Wednesday afternoon that covered just over 14 miles. A deputy tried to stop a vehicle associated with a reckless driving complaint on Highway 151 near Martin Road in the Town of Fond du Lac just after 4 p.m. The vehicle continued north on Highway 151 at a high rate of speed. Eventually the driver stopped on Johnsburg Road at County Highway W and was taken into custody. He’s being held in the County Jail on charges of eluding, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, criminal damage to property, and operating while intoxicated. His passenger, a 40-year-old woman, was detained and later released. No one was injured during the pursuit.
