Wisconsin got some good new Monday regarding COVID-19 testing with 144 new cases, but only 2.9 percent of the nearly 5,000 test results that returned. It was the lowest total of new cases in the state in almost four weeks and brings the total number of cases to 12,687. Six more deaths were also reported bringing that total to 459.

Fond du Lac County reported 18 new cases of the new coronavirus over the weekend bringing the county’s total to 141 with 3 deaths. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says most of their positive cases have been able to recover at home without medical intervention. Winnebago County reported one new case Monday for a total of 124 with 1 death. Dodge County has 108 cases and 1 death, Green Lake County 11 cases, and Marquette County 3 cases and 1 death. Waupaca County has recorded 17 cases and 1 death and 2 new cases were reported in Waushara County bringing its total to 7.
