COVID 19 Report Monday

Wisconsin reported 199 new cases of COVID-19 Monday or just under 6.5 percent of the 3,069 cases that came back from testing. The total number of cases is now at 10,418. The state also reported 9 more deaths bringing the death toll since the outbreak to 409. Five of those deaths were in Brown County.

 

Fond du Lac County recorded 21 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend bringing its total to 107. County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says six of those cases were due to one gathering. The County has also had one death. Winnebago County has now reported 100 cases and one death. Dodge County has had 74 cases and one death, Green Lake County has 8 cases, Marquette County 3 cases and one death, Waupaca County 13 cases and one death, and Waushara County 4 cases.

Another Turn Of The Dial

Governor Evers announced another Executive Order Monday turning up the dial on the eventual reopening of the state during the coronavirus epidemic. The order signed by the state’s Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm, allows all standalone or strip-mall based retail stores to offer in-person shopping for up to five customers at a time while maintaining required social distancing practices. Additionally, the order allows drive-in theaters to operate with some restrictions.
