Wisconsin will have a new justice on the State Supreme Court. Dane County Circuit Court Judge Jill Karofsky defeated incumbent Justice Daniel Kelly getting more than 55 percent of the vote or nearly 856,000 votes to Kelly’s more than 692,000 votes.

In the race for Court of Appeals Judge District 2 Lisa Neubauer beat Paul Bugenhagen, Jr. getting 54 percent of the vote or nearly 232,000 votes to Bugenhagen’s 197,000 plus.

The proposed amendment to the State Constitution known as Marsy’s Law, which will give crime victims more rights easily passed receiving over 1.1 million yes votes to over 370,000 no votes.

Bernie Sanders had already dropped out of the Democratic race for President, but Joe Biden easily won the Wisconsin Primary getting about 63 percent of the vote and over 581,000 votes to Sanders 293,000 plus votes.
