NFDL Man Charged With A Dozen Counts Of Arson

A 43-year-old North Fond du Lac man suspected of setting fires in the Fond du Lac area last month made his initial appearance in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday. Michael Miller is facing 27 felony charges including 12 counts of arson to a building or a structure, 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, criminal damage to property, and possession of child pornography charges. He is accused of setting nine fires in the county dating back to last September. According to the criminal complaint he used clothing items stolen from laundromats to start the fires. Bond was set at $200,000 cash at a previous hearing. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 7th.
