Missing Beaver Dam Man Found Dead In Green Lake County

Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputies aided the Beaver Dam Police Department Sunday afternoon in the search for a missing Beaver Dam man. Forty-two-year-old Jacob Friede was known to have gone fishing in the Kingston area. Shortly after 12:30 they located his vehicle in Spring Lake Park and during a subsequent search found him face down in an area of lake vegetation near his small overturned skiff. The Green Lake County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Kingston, Dalton, Marquette, Markesan, and Princeton Fire Departments, and Markesan Southern Green Lake County EMS.
