In Person Voting Will Take Place Today In Wisconsin

7 April 2020 News

There will be in-person voting at the polls in Wisconsin today after all. The state’s Supreme Court yesterday ruled that Governor Tony Evers couldn’t postpone voting in the Presidential Preference Primary. They struck down the executive order Evers issued earlier in the day moving the election to June 9th. The court ruled 4 to 2 that the governor lacked the authority to move the election on his own. The U.S. Supreme Court Monday also blocked a plan to allow the extension of absentee voting until next Monday in Wisconsin. Anyone who requested an absentee ballot, but hasn’t received it will have to vote at the polls.
