FDL Woman Injured In ATV Accident

A 28-year-old Fond du Lac woman was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries after rolling the ATV she was operating in in the Town of Taycheedah early Saturday morning. A witness told Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies the woman and a passenger were heading north on Meadowview Road and rolled the ATV over trying to turn west on Safari Lane. The 36-year-old Fond du Lac woman that was a passenger on the ATV was not injured. Neither woman was wearing protective gear. The woman operating the ATV is being charged operating under influence causing injury, operating in careless manner, and operating an ATV without an ATV safety certificate. The accident was reported at 3:57 a.m.
