Woman Injured In Accident In Downtown Berlin

Speed and alcohol were factors in a crash in downtown Berlin Friday afternoon that led to injuries for the 42-year-old woman driving an SUV. The accident in the 200 block of Broadway Street occurred shortly after Noon. The SUV was heading west and went off the north side of the road where it struck several buildings causing moderate damage to the vehicle. The driver was taken to the ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin. She was wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.
