Malone Man Injured In ATV Accident

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the 39-year-old Malone man who was severely injured in an ATV accident in the Town of Calumet Sunday afternoon. Jeremy Groeschel was thrown from his machine after losing control as he neared the County Highway HHH intersection. He wasn’t wearing a helmet and alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. A ThedaStar helicopter flew him to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries.

A 39-year-old Malone area man was seriously injured when he was thrown from his ATV in a crash in Fond du Lac County’s Calumet Township Sunday afternoon. Investigators believe he was heading north on US Highway 151 and lost control of the ATV as he approached County Highway HHH. As a result he was thrown from the machine. He was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash. The accident was called in at 4:53 pm.
