Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is known for his narrow escapes from onrushing defenses, but one recent escape had nothing to do with the game. During a radio show last Friday Rodgers talked about how he and his girlfriend Danica Patrick, and two friends, left Peru nine days ago just as the country was shutting down airports due to the coronavirus. Rodgers says, “There was definitely a panic in the air.” He related how they left 15 minutes before the airport was shut down due to weather. But it was shortly after that the ban on international flights went into effect.

Formers Packers’ wide receiver Geronimo Allison will be playing for the Detroit Lions next season. Allison signed a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum of $910,000. Allison struggled with Green Bay last season catching 34 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns.

The Green Bay Packers have announced plans to extend the closures of its businesses to the public until April 24th when the order expires, or until a superseding order is issued, to help minimize the spread of the pandemic, COVID-19. The closure will continue to apply to all Lambeau Field Atrium business including; the Packers Pro Shop, Packers Hall of Fame and 1919 Kitchen & Tap, as well as all team-run activities in Titletown, including the playground and 46 Below, as well as The Turn.
