Green Lake County Declares State Of Emergency

The Green Lake County Board Tuesday approved a resolution declaring a state of emergency in the county due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a result all county buildings will be closed to the public, but county offices will remain open and operational. Services may be limited in certain county and state offices, including the Green Lake County District Attorney’s Office and Circuit Court. The public shall be notified and directed to communicate with county departments via telephone or email. Green Lake County Administrator Catherine Schmidt says, “We have become the targets of a formidable foe, but with strength, perseverance, and wisdom we will prevail.
