COVID 19 In FDL County

There are now six people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Wisconsin, the latest being two from Fond du Lac County and one from Waukesha County. Both Fond du Lac County patients contracted it while traveling, one in the U.S. and one internationally. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says one is hospitalized and the other is being isolated at home. The Waukesha County patient was exposed while traveling in the U.S. and internationally and is currently isolated at home.

COVID 19 In FDL County

With two people in Fond du Lac County infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 the Fond du Lac County Health Department and Agnesian HealthCare are collaborating to help individuals within the community who have concerns about potential exposure and symptoms. Starting today from 7 am to 5 pm residents can call 1-844-225-0147 for more direction from Public Health officials. A screening location is being established. Individuals, who have been screened by Public Health and determined in need of testing, will be directed to the testing site. Those who are concerned they may have symptoms are asked to contact this number before arriving in person at any health care facility, including urgent care or an emergency department.  Symptoms include: fever, cough, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says, “It’s important for individuals to wash their hands, cover their cough, and stay home from work or school if they’re sick.”
