The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state grew by 100 Sunday to 383. Thirty of Wisconsin’s 72 counties have now reported at least one person that has tested positive for the virus with Milwaukee County reporting the most with more than 180. State health officials say 6,230 people have tested negative for the virus.

 

The Fond du Lac County Health Department received word Sunday that the total number of people in the county who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 17. A man in his 50s, who returned from an Egyptian river cruise died, the first death reported in the state. The Dodge County Health Department over the weekend reported its first two cases with 47 people testing negative and 82 tests pending. Also over the weekend Governor Tony Evers added hair salons, day spas, nail salons, barber shops, tattoo parlors, body art establishments, and tanning facilities to the businesses that had to close.

 

The IRS and State of Wisconsin have extended the income tax filing deadline to July 15th.
