Oshkosh Police Officer Injured In The Line Of Duty

A 30-year-old Oshkosh Police Officer was injured in the line of duty early Tuesday morning. According to police he was investigating a suspicious situation complaint in the 1800 block of Robin Avenue where a 29-year-old Milwaukee man was trying to enter an apartment that wasn’t his. When officers tried to take the suspect into custody he fought with them choking and injuring an officer. The officer was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested on charges of battery to a law-enforcement officer, resisting, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and on a probation hold.
