Fire In Calumet Town Dump

Four fire departments responded to a structure fire in the Calumet Town Dump late Saturday night. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say a person living in the area called 9-1-1 after seeing a large amount of smoke coming from a partially enclosed structure at the dump on Schoenborn Road. The building houses a dumpster. Firefighters were able to save the building. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The time of the fire call was 9:20 pm.
