Fire At Kewaskum Auto Recyclers

Fire destroyed one building and damaged another at Kewaskum Auto Recyclers in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Auburn Friday evening. One of business owners reported the fire at N205 County Highway V just before 7:30. Deputies learned one of the owners had been using a blow torch to remove portions of a vehicle inside one of the buildings. When he returned to the building he was overcome by smoke. Sheriff officials say no one was injured during the blaze and the fire is not considered suspicious. Eight fire departments responded to the scene.
