29 January 2020 News
U.S. Senators Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Gary Peters of Michigan want to know what the Department of Homeland Security’s strategy is for containing the spread of the Coronavirus. The two are the chairman and ranking member respectively of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee. They sent a letter to acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf Tuesday making the inquiry. They cited problems in 2014 in responding to Ebola that exposed gaps in ensuring all airport travelers received full health screenings.
