Ripon Public Library Romper Romp Starts Friday
1 January 2020 News
Maintaining physical activity and human connections during the winter months can be a challenge. Because both are important for healthy, happy human beings, the Ripon Public Library’s Romper Room has been established to facilitate both!
Hosted in the library’s Silver Creek Room, the Romper Room offers time and space for caregivers to be active and engaged with their young children, age 0-8 years. What to expect: trike and trailer, balance bike, bowling, croquet, ball toss, giant parachute, community play carpet with vehicles, hop-scotch, giant LEGOs, pull toys, hippity-hop balls, scooter boards, and more.
Doors will be open according to the following schedule:
Fridays | 9 A.M.—5 P.M., January 3, 17, 24, 31
Simple, inexpensive ideas for keeping kids occupied will also be offered on Fridays from 9:30-10:30 A.M.
SUPER Saturday | 10 A.M.—Noon | January 11
Sundays | 1-3 P.M. | January 5, 19, 26
February and March dates will be announced after January’s trial run. Registration is not required. For more information, contact Linda DeCramer, decramer@riponlibrary.org, or 920-748-6160.
