Two Ripon High School students, Amelia Taylor and Theo Rausch, have been named as semifinalists for the 2020 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Other area semifinalists include Emily Leverance of Oshkosh North High School, Aime Rabadan of Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac, and Cecelia Rodriguez of St. Mary’s Springs High School in Fond du Lac. If they are named scholars in the program they would receive a $20,000 college scholarship. Over 1,900 high school seniors were selected as semifinalists for the 2020 scholarships. With the addition of the 2020 class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 6,300 Coke Scholars nationwide with over $72 million in scholarships over the course of 32 years. The program is a joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across the country and the Coca-Cola Company.
