Threat Against Students Found In Ripon High School Bathroom

Ripon Police are investigating a threat at the high school. School district officials say a high school student found a message in a bathroom Wednesday with a threat directed toward 17 students. The high school and middle school were placed in a soft lockdown. Police were notified and students affected by the threat were located. They were allowed to leave school. Once they left the lockdown was lifted. The nature of the threat was not specified by district officials. Classes are being held today.
