Ripon Teen Suspected Of High School Threat Makes Initial Court Appearance

A Ripon teen has been charged for allegedly making a threat to kill 17 students and a teacher at the Ripon High School. Lillian Cavell made her initial appearance in Fond du Lac County court Tuesday via video conferencing from the county jail. She was released on a $1,000 signature with conditions including no access to firearms or ammunition in her home and no contact with the high school or anyone listed on the threatening message that was discovered in a high school bathroom last Wednesday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, January 17th.
