Bond was set at $500,000 cash when a 21-year-old Ripon man made his initial appearance this week in Fond du Lac County court on child enticement and possession of child pornography charges. Talin Ross is facing a dozen felony charges and has a preliminary hearing on January 24th. An FBI investigation into his alleged child porn activities resulted in the recovery of hundreds of images and more than 90 videos. According to the criminal complaint the search of Ross’s former residence in Ripon in August of last year was the result of alleged online chats he had with an undercover agent trying to solicit more child porn. Ross was arrested last month after running away to Arizona with 15-year-old Cassandra Marie Garza of Ripon. Ross is also facing a second degree sexual assault of a child charge in Green Lake County. A motion hearing is scheduled in that case on January 28th.
