One Killed One Injured In Dodge County Head On Crash

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the two men involved in a fatal head-on crash on State Highway 33 in the Town of Beaver Dam Friday morning. The pickup truck 19-year-old Jacob Anderson of Jackson was driving crossed over the center line near Hidden Valley Drive and collided with an SUV driven by 66-year-old Charles Schultz of Juneau. As a result of the crash Schultz died while emergency responders were trying to save his life. Anderson suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

One driver was killed and the other injured in a two-vehicle head-on accident on State Highway 33 in Dodge County’s Town of Beaver Dam Friday morning. Multiple 9-1-1 calls reported the crash shortly before 9:30 am. Sheriff’s officials say a man was trapped in his vehicle and once he was freed was being transported via EMS to a landing site for a medical helicopter, but before he could be transferred to the helicopter he died. The other driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The crash happened near Hidden Valley Drive about 2 ½ miles east of Beaver Dam.
