11 December 2019 Sports

The Packers return to the practice field today in preparation for Sunday’s home game against the Chicago Bears. Green Bay is 10-3 and in first place in the NFC North while the Bears, winners of three straight, are 7-6 and still in contention for a playoff spot. The Packers are coming off a 20-15 win over the Redskins, a game in which they led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter but then saw their offense sputter for rest of the game. Coach Matt LaFleur was asked Monday, if he was concerned his team was trending in the right direction, despite their record. He replied by saying the team has to be disciplined in their approach and get back to detail in order to improve.

In the NBA tonight, the Bucks return to action, hosting the Pelicans. Milwaukee is riding a 15-game winning streak while New Orleans has lost straight. The Bucks are coming off a win Monday night over Orlando. Milwaukee leads the Eastern Conference with a 21-3 mark, which is tied with the Lakers for the best record in the league.

In men’s college basketball tonight, the (5-4) Badgers play at Rutgers (6-3).
