Escaped Inmate Captured

Oshkosh Police say a missing inmate from the Drug Abuse Correctional Center in Oshkosh was taken into custody by Appleton Police Thursday. Forty-year-old Ryan Jurgens escaped from custody Wednesday morning shortly after 10:30. Police released a photo and description of Jurgens and the SUV he took to get away. Later they also asked for help from the public to contact a woman that might know where he is or have been contacted by him. Jurgens was serving time on a drug-related offense, violating court orders, and retail theft.
