Authorities Looking For Man Reported Missing In Winnebago County

Winnebago County authorities have intensified their search for a missing 24-year-old man given even colder overnight temperatures anticipated through Wednesday morning. Austin Cottrell was last seen at 12:15 Sunday morning in the area of Stonewood Court in the Town of Black Wolf. But Sheriff’s officials say he also may have been in the area of Doyle Lane. They are asking home and property owners in the Towns of Black Wolf and Nekimi to check buildings, outbuildings, closed portions of buildings, and vehicles for him. If he developed hypothermia he may be disoriented and in need of medical attention.

Authorities in Winnebago County are looking for a missing 24-year-old man last seen around midnight Saturday in the Town of Black Wolf. Sheriff’s officials say Austin Cottrell was in the area of Stonewood Court. They are asking for the public’s help because he was only wearing a Milwaukee Bucks pullover with a T-shirt underneath, dark jeans, blue or black shoes, and he was wearing glasses. They are asking for the public’s help because of the extreme cold.
