Story Times Resume
Ripon, WI- Ripon Public Library’s youth services department is excited to announce its November-December Story Time schedule for kids and families. Registration is not required.
Growing children into readers is the Story Time mantra. Adult and child participants enjoy an exciting mash-up of age appropriate books, language, music, movement, and play with a focus on early literacy learning activities. In addition to its educational and developmental benefits, Story Time enhances child/caregiver bonding, and provides a venue for caregivers of young children to connect and support one another. Come early and stay late!
On Wednesdays, November 6 through December 4, enjoy these offerings in the lower level Story Time room.
Bouncing Babies, designed for children 6 months to 2 1/2 years old, meets at 9:15 a.m., and lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Peppy Preschoolers, delightful for children 2 1/2 years and up, meets at 10:15 a.m., lasts 30-40 minutes, and focuses on the 5 practices- sing, read, play, write, talk – which have been proven effective in nurturing a child’s language and early literacy development.
Pajama Time
On Wednesday, December 11 Story Time shifts to Pajama Time at 6:30 p.m. and features the funniest, crunchiest, munchiest, cookie-themed stories, songs, and activities including cookie decorating. Gluten and lactose free options available.
Pajama Time is a periodic, family friendly event designed for school age children along with their younger siblings. Pajamas are welcome for an easy bedtime transition.
