School Report Cards Issued

The state’s Department of Public Instruction says the percentage of public and private schools and public school districts meeting expectations on state report cards remains high. On the cards issued for the 2018-19 school year, overall 87 percent of rated schools met or exceeded expectations as did 96 percent of the state’s 421 public school districts. Area schools exceeding expectations included; Ripon (78.5 percent), Rosendale-Brandon (76), Oakfield (80.4), and Green Lake (76.5). Among the districts meeting expectations were; Berlin (62.7 percent), Oshkosh (72.4), Waupun (68.7), and Wautoma (70.1 percent). The reports cards are considered “snap shots” of performance across priority areas. .
