14 November 2019 News
The Ripon Common Council approved the City’s 2020 budget last night. No residents spoke during a public hearing on the budget at the city hall last night. The Council approved the $5.3 million budget and the property tax levy, which will increase by more than $102,000 from the past year. Alderperson Aaron Becker was the only one who voted against it. The latest change to the budget was to have non-represented employees pay $20 a month more toward their health insurance premiums.
