Oshkosh Holiday Parade

15 November 2019 News

Oshkosh held its annual Holiday Parade last night featuring 65 floats. One of the participants was an electrical distribution manufacturer which was participating in the parade for the first time. They had 11 people walking in the parade and a couple people driving their float, which was based like other floats on the theme “March of the Toys.” Kim who works for that company says they had a little over a week to prepare the float that featured characters from “Babes in Toyland.” “We actually had about 8 days to get it put it together. We found out 8 days ago that we were allowed to get into the parade so it’s been 8 days. We all pulled into together and here we are.” She believes their entry “Hit it out of the park.” Hometown Broadcasting had one of its Bugs in the parade decked out in Christmas decorations. Wayne Mausser drove it in the parade.
