18 October 2019 News

The UW-Oshkosh has been awarded a $300,000 federal grant to enhance its programs to prevent sexual and domestic violence. It would also be used to care for and support survivors of those crimes. Art Munin, associate vice chancellor and dean of students at UW-Oshkosh, says the grant will allow them to do extensive training in trauma-informed care. Munin added they will be reaching out to all three of their campuses. Funding started October 1st and the full amount will be distributed to the university over the next three years with an option to renew. The UW-Oshkosh is part of a three-campus system with campuses in Oshkosh, Fond du Lac and in Menasha.
