Search For Missing Greenbush Man Called Off

Update:

The body of a missing Greenbush man was found in the Mullet River in Plymouth Saturday morning. Plymouth Police say a group of kayakers came across the body of 63-year-old Kevan McClintock who had been missing since early Thursday morning when he jumped into the river after his dog. Police working with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Dive team were able to recover his body in an area just outside of the search area. He was identified at the scene. Friends say he couldn’t swim. A friend located his dog.

Authorities in Sheboygan County have called off the search for a 63-year-old Greenbush man who jumped into the Mullet River in downtown Plymouth to retrieve his dog. Friends say Kevan McClintock couldn’t swim. It happened about 12:30 Thursday morning. A friend found the dog later. Among those who searched for McClintock were Plymouth Police and Fire, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Drone team and a Wisconsin National Guard helicopter. Officials called off the search because they were worried about the safety of those who were searching the river.
