Sports for October 14th
It’s time for Monday Night Football as the Packers host the Lions tonight at Lambeau Field. Green Bay is 4-1 while Detroit is 2-1-1 and coming off its bye week. For the second straight game it looks like the Packers will be without the services of wide receiver Davante Adams, who’s nursing a turf toe injury suffered against the Eagles. Coach Matt LaFleur says he’s confident his team will have an answer if the Lions try to take away Aaron Jones.
Green Bay will be trying to start to start 3-0 against Northern Division opponents after beating both the Bears and the Vikings earlier.
The pregame starts at 5:00 with the kickoff at 7:15 on 102.3FM, The Bug.
In the NFC North on Sunday, Minnesota won at home over the Eagles, 38-20 while the Bears were off.
