FDL Man Sentenced On Federal Gun And Drug Charges

A 38-year-old Fond du Lac man has been sentenced to more than 18 years in prison and five years of extended supervision on federal gun and drug charges. Charges against Joshua Klein stem from an arrest at his Fond du Lac home on August 27th of last year during which he possessed marijuana, heroin and two guns that were illegally purchased. His co-defendant 46-year-old Kerry Birkholz, who purchased the guns for Klein, pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges and is awaiting sentencing.
