Bench Fitting Tribute For Former FDL County Deputy District Attorney

2 October 2019 News

A former Deputy District Attorney for Fond du Lac County will be remembered with a memorial bench near the employee entrance of the City-County Government Center in Fond du Lac. County Board Chairperson Marty Farrell says the City-County Building Board recently approved the granite bench in Dennis Krueger’s memory. District Attorney Eric Toney says Krueger worked hard for the county and the bench will be a nice tribute. “So that will be a nice tribute for them to be able to see Dennis and remember him and take a break or for the general public if they are in the area to use the bench. So I think it’s a great tribute that Dennis’s widow Crystal and his mother stepping up to see happen.” If the timing works out the bench should be set up by next spring around the second anniversary of Krueger’s unexpected death. Krueger lived in Green Lake.
