Mayville Woman Pleads To Aiding Murderer

A former Beaver Dam woman who allegedly hid a Dodge County murder suspect in her apartment has pleaded no contest to a harboring or aiding a felon charge. Thirty-three-year-old Rebecca Wolc of Mayville was in Dodge County court for a plea hearing Wednesday morning. She watched as Nigel Schultz shot 36-year-old Bradlee Gerke to death. Gerke’s body was found in a shallow grave in a cow pasture off Redwing Road in the Town of Lebanon last Halloween. Wolc will be sentenced on January 16th. Last month Schultz pleaded no contest to a first degree intentional homicide charge. He will be sentenced on January 7th.
