Jailbreak Marathon In Wautoma Qualifier For Boston Marathon

Those who didn’t have a chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon due to cancelled runs in Green Bay and the Fox Valley have the opportunity in Wautoma Saturday. After a couple year hiatus the Waushara County Crime Stoppers Jailbreak Marathon returns. Norm Duesterhoeft is the race organizer. “Between Green Bay and the Fox Cities this last weekend folks who are still looking for a place to try and get that race in they are welcome to come on down for the Jailbreak and they can still qualify here in Wautoma.” The event will be held at the Waushara County Fairgrounds with registration available there. For slow runners there’s an early start at 6:30 and the full marathon gets underway at 7:30 am. The event is a fundraiser for the Sheriff’s K9 program and will also feature 21 crafters and displays of first responder equipment.
