Congressman Sensenbrenner Retiring

Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner announced Wednesday he will be retiring at the end of his term in January of 2021. Sensenbrenner, who is 76-years-old, was first elected to Congress in 1978 and is the second-longest serving current member of the House. In a statement Sensenbrenner said when he first began public service he would know when to retire and it’s time to step back. Sensenbrenner represents Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District.
