Fond du Lac Police are looking for a man who tried to lure a 4-year-old girl into his SUV at a city park Wednesday afternoon. It happened about 1:15 pm at Catherine Whittier Park. The aunt of the girl told police a man approached the girl and asked her if she wanted ice cream and asked her to come to his SUV. The woman intervened and the man left the park in a newer white-colored mid-size Chevy 4-door. It had tinted windows with half of the Chevy logo on the back scratched off. The suspect was a white man in his 40’s. He has a medium build, is approximately 5-foot-8 inches tall, with shoulder-length gray hair and minimal facial scruff.
