Oshkosh Man Sentenced On Child Sexual Assault Charge

The 76-year-old Oshkosh man who sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl while he was working for the YMCA in Oshkosh has been sentenced to a year in jail.  B.T. Adams was sentenced on a second degree sexual assault of a child charge in Winnebago County court Wednesday.  He pled no contest to the charge in May. Judge Scott Woldt also ordered 12 years of probation for Adams. The assaults occurred while Adams worked at the in the Child Care Center’s Drop Off Center at the Oshkosh YMCA. According to the criminal complaint YMCA staff found video that showed Adams sexually assaulting the child on several occasions.
