The 25-year-old Milwaukee man that beat and robbed a truck driver at an Interstate 41 wayside in Lomira has been sentenced to eight years in prison and five years of extended supervision. Keenan Brown was sentenced in Dodge County court Wednesday on charges of robbery with use of force and substantial battery for the September 4th, 2017 incident. The victim suffered a fractured jaw, brain hemorrhaging, cuts to his head, and the loss of a tooth. Brown and an accomplice stole $90, the victim’s wallet and cell phone. District Attorney Kurt Klomberg says, “Brutal crimes like the one committed by Brown need to be answered with stern sentences.” Brown was already serving time for a 2016 robbery and will not be released from prison until 2029.
