Young Professionals Give Back To Women’s Fund

Fond du Lac, WI – The Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF), a program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, donated proceeds from a recently held event to the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund.
$800 was donated to the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund as part of a charity event held during YPWeek this past April. F.L.A.W., or Fond du Lac Lady Arm Wrestlers, featured a competition of 10 of the community’s female celebrities facing off against one another in various personas. Women’s Fund Executive Director, Maria “Pain Killa” Turner, took part in the event as well as three other Women’s Fund Board of Directors members in addition to Envision Greater Fond du Lac staff, community elected officials, and more. Women’s Fund Board member, Shavana “BeyonSLAY” Talbert of the Fond du Lac School District, won the first F.L.A.W. event.
