Ram Jam

12 July 2019 News

You might say that it was a ram in a jam. Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Mayflower Road south of Rock Road in the Town of Ellington about 1:30 Thursday afternoon for a ram loose in the road. Fortunately things didn’t come to butting heads, but the ram was elusive and got away when deputies tried to corral him. But the ram is no longer on the lam. Deputies cornered him in a barn on Hooyman Road in Shiocton and corralled him inside a pen in the barn. He will be removed today and turned over to the Greenville Zoo, which agreed to take him off their hands. He had been on the lam since Wednesday.
