Marshall Man Arrested For High Speed Chase With Waupun Police

Waupun Police chased a 31-year-old Marshall man who refused to pull over when he was speeding on Highway 151 late Friday night. An officer tried to pull the speeding vehicle over at State Highway 49, but the driver took off at high speeds. Eventually the man was taken into custody after running over spike strips near Beaver Dam that were put down on Highway 151 at State Highway 33. He was taken to the Dodge County Jail on felony fleeing an officer and disorderly conduct charges. The incident happened just before 10:30 Friday evening.
