A 49-year-old Fond du Lac man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison and 7 years of extended supervision on second degree sexual assault and fourth degree sexual assault charges. In March a Fond du Lac County jury found Richard Forsyth II guilty of those charges, but not guilty of false imprisonment. Judge Dale English sentenced Forsyth Tuesday. District Attorney Eric Toney praised the victim’s courage and the work of investigators. He says, “Sexual Assaults are a very serious crime that has significant and long lasting impacts on victims.”
