Wednesday, July 10 | 10 A.M. | Wendy & DB: 3rd Rock From The Sun Musical Fun!

The dynamic duo of Wendy Morgan and Darryl Boggs engages and enchants young audiences with guitar and vocals. Delightfully interactive, their music thoughtfully inspires audiences toward living thoughtfully and generously.

Wednesday, July 10 | 2 P.M. | Teen Board Gaming (Ages 12-17)

Explore an assortment of games from the library’s upcoming modern board game collection. Staff and expert volunteers will be on hand to guide players through a fun and rich gaming experience.

Thursday, July 11 | 6:30 A.M. | Lit and Fit: A Walking Book Club

Talk about what you’ve read lately and get new book suggestions during a morning walk with other readers. Two schedule options offered:  Thursday mornings at 6:30 A.M. and the fourth Thursday of the month at both 6:30 & 9 A.M. Meet in the library parking lot.

Friday, July 12 | 6 P.M. | Adult NERF Blasters Battle

Gear up and have a blast at the Adult NERF Battle on Friday, July 12 at 6:00 P.M. at Ripon Public Library. This popular after-hours event is team-oriented and a great way to meet new people while being active! NERF dart-style ammo, flashing glow necklaces, and snacks provided. B.Y.O.B. (bring your own unmodified blaster) if you have one! “Elite” dart-style NERF guns only please. A small number of NERF blasters will be available to borrow during the event. The doors will be locked at 6:00 P.M. when the program starts. Please arrive beforehand to sign waivers.

Sunday, July 14 | 1 P.M. | Dungeons & Dragons Campaign

Newcomers and experienced gamers embrace the fusion of gaming and role playing in this fun, dynamic experience that meets on the second Sunday of the month at 1 P.M. For ages 13-adult. Younger participants welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Tuesday, July 16 | 10 A.M. | Great Scott Variety Show

A not-to-be-missed MAGIC, HUMOR & VARIETY show! Humorist & magician Scott Obermann, aka GREAT SCOTT, entertains, educates, and simply wows his audiences with mind-boggling tricks, hilarious audience participation schticks, music, magic, and more! FREE fun for ALL AGES!

Tuesday, July 16 | 6 P.M. | Adult Game Night—Party Games Featuring Snake Oil! (Ages 16+)

Get your game face on and enjoy modern board games at the library! This month, we are featuring Snake Oil, where players create hilarious fake products to sell to imaginary buyers. Think Shark Tank meets Apples-to-Apples. Codenames, Concept, and Super Fight also available. Bring your favorite party games to share.

Wednesday, July 17 | 2-4 P.M. & 5-7 P.M. AND Thursday, July 18 | 10 A.M.—12 P.M. & 2-4 P.M.

Papermaking Workshops: Local paper enthusiast Tanya Schwartz shares the latest techniques in handmade paper arts & production. These popular drop-in sessions are first-come, first-serve.

Saturday, July 27 | 9:30 A.M., 11 A.M., & 12:30 P.M. | Escape Room—Space!

Team up with friends to follow the clues and solve the puzzles scattered about this space-themed room in order to escape before the clock runs out! Participants must register, with a limit of 8 persons per time slot—call 748-6160 or stop by the library. More times will become available if all time slots are filled. For ages 12—adult.
