Wisconsin Broadcasters Association President and CEO Michelle Vetterkind toured the Hometown Broadcasting stations Monday on her way to the WBA’s Annual Convention in Elkhart Lake. There are about 400 radio and television stations in Wisconsin and most of them are WBA members. “We are blessed to actually be at about 98 percent membership of all the radio and television stations in the state. So our job is to protect and serve and advocate for the free over the air broadcast industry and we are proud to do it.” Vetterkind says radio is more vibrant than ever and its strength is the local and live programming it provides. She says Hometown Broadcasting stations are good example of that.
