Two Injured In FDL County Truck Versus Motorcycle Accident

A Fond du Lac man and woman were seriously injured when their motorcycle collided with a truck on Lakeshore Drive near Cemetery Road in the Town of Friendship Sunday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say the 58-year-old Fond du Lac man driving the truck had slowed to make a left-hand turn and did not see the motorcycle in the opposite lane. The motorcycle collided with the truck as it began making its turn. The 47-year-old Fond du Lac man driving the motorcycle was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with critical injuries. ThedaStar helicopter flew his passenger, a 37-year-old Fond du Lac woman, to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. The truck driver was not hurt in the crash, which was reported just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
