Jury Finds Milwaukee Man Guilty Of Lomira Wayside Beating And Robbery

14 June 2019 News

A Dodge County jury Thursday found a 24-year-old Milwaukee man guilty of charges stemming from the beating and robbery of a truck driver at an Interstate 41 wayside in Lomira. Keenan Brown was found guilty of robbery with use of force and substantial battery for the September 4th, 2017 incident. The victim suffered a fractured jaw, brain hemorrhaging, cuts to his head, and the loss of a tooth. Brown and an accomplice stole $90, the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The wallet was later recovered. Brown’s DNA was found on the wallet and the victim’s clothing. District Attorney Kurt Klomberg says, “We intend to see that the defendant remains in prison for a long time where he cannot hurt other members of the public.” A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Brown is currently serving time for a 2016 robbery and will not be released from prison until 2021.
